The service was good, and quick. I rate that 5 stars. However, I lowered my overall rating to 3 stars because the service advisors continue to push maintenance services that are not required. Specifically, if the owner's manual suggests a maintenance service of 60,000 miles or 5 years, the service advisors do not need to push that service at 40,000 miles and 2 years. In addition to that, I ask if the service is recommended in the owner's manual, and they don't know.

Came by at the dealership a week a week prior to set up my appointment for my first oil change. It was a very busy day at the dealership and the oil change took over two hours. I would expect that kind of experience if I was a walk up customer, but I had made an appointment well in advance.

When I arrived the service person didn't have a record of my appointment, which had been scheduled earlier in the week. When I left from my service I received a phone call and had to return to the dealership, they kept the wheel lock kit from my vehicle. The previous week I had an issue after my oil change, I left 4 voicemails with various members of the service department and never received a call back. I finally spoke with someone in person to discuss my concerns. Typically pretty happy with Beaty but this was not a good example of customer service.

This was one of the best dealership experiences I have ever had! My wife and I had stopped by to look at both Tahoes and Silverados. We were greeted by Kevin Caruso and he showed us all around. We weren’t 100% sure what we were looking for but Keven was extremely patient and showed us a ton of different options. We never once felt pressured and I really appreciated that he included my wife in all the conversations and questions. We still weren’t sure what we wanted to do and told Kevin we needed to think about it more. Again, no pressure, he just gave us a card and said if we had any questions or wanted to drive anything again to give him a call. After coming back to test drive several more vehicles, I narrowed it down to two trucks and Kevin was very helpful the whole time. The afternoon I finally came to sign the paperwork, we were babysitting for a neighbor and had their 4 year old with us. Again, Kevin was amazing! I don’t know that I have ever seen someone so good with kids. He walked me through all my questions and made sure that my wife and I were truly happy when we left! I also want to thank Jesse, the finance manager, and Buddy another salesman who helped us out. Thank you to the entire Beaty team for making this such a great experience! You have earned a customer for life!!!

They worked hard on getting my truck back to me as soon as possible since it was brand new! The only complaint I have and it’s a small one was lack of communication. Customers whose vehicles will be at the shop longer than a few days, in my case over a week, should have updates! I had to call constantly to find out what was going on with my truck!

I arrived at the prescribed time for the first service on my 2024 Colorado Trail Boss...Oil Change and Tyre Rotation...Great Service Writer...the Service Techs took my Truck immediately...very nice waiting area...and best of all...the First Basic Service was No Charge...I picked up my Truck and Drove Away from my Dealership in less than One Hour...I think that's FIVE STAR SERVICE.

I called and got an over the phone quote and made an appointment. Went in for my service and was told it would take around 2 hours. Within a 1.5 hours I was back on the road at the quoted price. Great job. I will say did the same with a dealership across town for the same work and was quoted a similar price but before the work was done the price more than doubled. Needless to say I passed on them. Will use Beaty service again.

Just disappointed. I have to assume the work performed was acceptable. My main concern is charges. $60 to use my credit card is crazy. I work in a bank, and you need to renegotiate your rates if you are paying 3%. You are already charging me $860.96 labor for a condenser and to pile on more fees feels like adding insult to injury. I set the appointment online and asked to use my ($72.00 of Chevy rewards dollars) towards my service. It was NOT deducted from my bill. The other item was when I was shopping for new tires, I told your service writer Robert Huff that Cosco included service of rotating AND balancing. He said (yes) we do too. I confirmed before I purchased the tires from Beaty and yet I was charged $40 for that service. My Tahoe had grease all over it when I picked it up. Steering wheel, shifter, door handle, window and outside on the paint. All just slimed with grease.

Service was fine but I didn't appreciate being surprised by a 3% surcharge on paying my bill with a credit card. I get a lot of emails from you folks but don't remember one advising that this new "policy" was going into effect. There are a lot of other Chevy dealers and I'll be checking to see if the others have started charging 3% on bills. If not, I'll be switching. Alternatively, you could investigate cheaper credit card processing services, like Square, so you can absorb these smaller fees as a cost of doing business instead of passing them along to unsuspecting customers.

I felt as though they didn’t address my concerns or listen to me. In my request for an appointment I mentioned wanting so use my warranty for my mechanic trip. I never heard a response from them about this. When I dropped my vehicle off for the appointment I again mentioned the warranty and asked if I needed to give them the information. They never said it was an issue. After they called me to tell me that the repair was done they asked to confirm the repairs were all that needed to be done and I told them it was the oil change and the regularly scheduled maintenance under the warranty. They said okay and never said anything else. I showed up to get my car and was handed a bill that said they didn’t accept my warranty. I found this to be a dishonest way to handle the situation and that at some point in the process a discussion should have been had with me, sonI could have chosen another option.

Came in due to a transmission problem with 2023 GMC 3500 Denali. This was on a Saturday mind you, we live in Alaska and had to leave that Monday. GMC was not shipping the part to fix my transmission due to it’s being a national hold until they figured out the fix. Our only choice was to trade in. Was given a decent trade value for my GMC and was lucky they had one dully that ended up being a perfect fit. We come back home to Clinton for the winters so we will only deal with Beaty for new purchases and services when we are here. I have never been treated as good as I was at any other dealership as I was at Beaty. This is the reason when people buy from Beaty they stay at Beaty, from service to sells and all the miles in between!

The waiting room is very nice, free coffee, snacks etc. However it took an hour and a half to get the oil changed. No one notified us the car was finished so no telling how long it had been sitting there when I went looking for it in the parking lot. The oil is over priced and charging $18.00+ for labor on top of the oil seems excessive.

I had an 11:00 oil change and tire rotation appointment on 4/9/25. I arrived 10 minutes early, and my oil change was not completed until 1:50 - that's 3 hours I waited!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable when I had a reserved appointment. If you are overbooking your appointments to the point where it causes this ridiculously long wait time, something must change!

Fine...I had a better experience the first time I brought my vehicle in for an oil change/service. This is my second oil change and when I went to pay they said I didn't owe them since the first oil change was included with the purchase of the vehicle. I reminded them that I had already done the first oil change and that this was the second. The service tech said he didn't realize that and changed it back to the regular price but then he knocked $15 off the price though. Upon getting the vehicle, I noticed there were grease/oil finger marks on the door handle and on the hood and steering wheel. I cleaned them off but think that is unprofessional. Just had a better experience the first time in.

The service I received was great. I knew I was going to have to wait for awhile due what I was having done to my vehicle. I forgot my coupons, but they honored them for me. Only thing I was not told is that if I used a credit card I would have to pay 3% which would have added $30.00 to my bill. As debit card/credit card was compromised I did not have it. They did take the $30.00 off.

Let me begin by stating I love my truck, and Beaty service has always been fairly reliable. I live in oak ridge and usually wait on service. This past visit was definitely not the norm for me. I'm hoping it was just a fluke. I had an appointment at 8 a.m. for tire sensor replacement X4 and to reset the fuel filter alarm that wasn't reset when it was replaced last service visit. I got there about 7:30 a.m. and didn't get out until 1:30. I asked a couple of times about the delay and got the typical " someone didn't show up" and "sensors weren't in stock" responses. A dealer the size of Beaty running out of tire sensors? Come on, if you're out of sensors now, y'all are gonna really be screwed when the supply chain shuts down (not if but when). I'll keep going back to Beaty, but might take y'all up on the ride home next time which really isn't my preferred option. I did get a reduced labor charge and a free oil change for the delay and I very much appreciate that, but would've much preferred to have not spent 6 hours waiting on a 1 to 2 hour job. I hate to even bring up the poor experience I had this time, because it has definitely not been my experience overall (since 2017). Thanks.

Sadly I won’t be back for my oil changes. I instantly felt like I was bothering your employees. Had an appointment at 10:00 am. Finally had to ask about my car at 12:00 to he told they just started it. Finally finished at 12:30. I think 2 1/2 hours with an appointment is excessive. Allen S. and the rest of the folks at Beaty Chevrolet went above and beyond to help us with our son's 2019 Silverado. We live outside the Knoxville area now but originally bought the truck at Beaty. Therefore, when it had service issues, we took it to the Chevrolet dealership near us first. That was a disaster. That particular service department told us the truck needed a new transmission, front differential, and extensive work to fix the air conditioner. In addition, that dealership told us none of that was covered under our warranty/wrap policy. The repairs were quoted totaling more than $17K. After calling the insurance company directly, we found out that was not only not true, that dealership had not reached out to them. They recommended having the truck towed to Beaty. When the truck was on its way to Knoxville, I reached out to Allen S., the service manager at Beaty. He took a great deal of time with me to walk me through the process they were going to take for a diagnostic and recommendation. Even prior to working with the warranty/wrap policy company, he let us know the maximum out of pocket would be $9K for the same repairs. In the end, we ended up paying approximately $2.3K for all repairs and some maintenance completed that was due anyway. I could not be more pleased at the time and attention Allen and Beaty Chevrolet took with our repairs. They went above and beyond. They operated with a high level of integrity. I would certainly recommend this service department for your vehicle needs.

He followed us all over the lot telling us he’s not your typical “Car Salesman” but non stop talked about extend warranty! We decided to take a test drive my husband was driving and we couldn’t even talk about the car because he wouldn’t stop talking… if it wasn’t his personal life it was more extend warranty (the same story.. again) I told my husband I didn’t like the car and just go back. Needless to say we left. We looked all day and I just wanted to drive that car myself but I couldn’t spend anymore time with that salesman. We went back and found Roger and explained what had happened, he apologized and I was able to test drive and bought the car. I think sometimes the best salesmen talk less and listen more… Roger talked but he also listened and really heard me. Roger is NOT A SALESMAN…he’s just a normal everyday guy who listened.

I have taken my two chevy trucks to Beaty Chevrolet for many years, and yesterday 6/30 I took my 3500 Silverado HD for oil/filter, tire rotation and transfer case service which they completed. After arriving to my house, I checked my truck for a right rear hub oil leak that was discovered during the tire rotation requested and found that the rear gate has been dented during the service at the Betty chevy dealer. I washed the truck on Sunday before taking it to be service and there was not a dent on the rear gate. Also, the service person did a car check beforehand and did not find any dents on the truck. Beaty Chevrolet dealer is not an honest business. Their mechanics should have reported the incident. Also. I found a hub cap that was dented too. I am a very unsatisfied customer with this car dealer. I can be contacted to show the damage done.

Scheduling fine, drop off at service fine, time for service fine, checkout and payment not so good. I was asked to pay a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. No one discussed with me at scheduling or at service drop off. The first sign I saw posted was at the checkout. Beaty had stopped accepting American Express several years ago. I accepted and got another credit card. The 3% surcharge was a shock. I have been serving my vehicles at Beaty since 1999 and I have had well over 100 service visits. I did not feel it was fair to have the surcharge without notification. I asked to speak with to the service manager and had to wait some time. After discussing with the service manager, he told me there was nothing he could do to adjust since it was an automated fee charged in the ticket system. He added that they had to charge the 3% because it had cost Beaty over $500,000 last year allowing customers to use credit cards. Since the fee could not be waived I asked that the total amount of the service be discounted 3%. After looking over the ticket he did discount the shop materials by 3% of the total service.The amount was $9.65. My problem is there was no mention of a surcharge before the fact. If there had been i could have decided to pay the fee, pay cash or go elsewhere. Losing a 100 plus visit service customer did not seem to be a priority for Beaty.

Truck arrived for 3pm appointment at 2.45. It sat around until 4.45pm when BEATY finally took back to complete oil, tires and simple DFI E.C.M re program for fuel flow rate. Glad to get it done and I LOVE Beaty and my Advisor Scott is absolutely THE BEST..... but truck sitting around for 2 hours while I drink coffee and wait PRIOR to it being even started at 4.45pm is ridiculous Need a separate OIL change bay and tech bc no one wants to wait 2.5 hours for oil. Thanks for the DFI reprogram and software update. The ENTIRE truck was finished in 45 minutes from 4.45 - 5.30. Oil change times need repairing. Again I LIKE Beaty service and advisors but service times need help!!!

Scheduling service is a disaster and a test of your patience. No one answers the phone, no one returns voicemails that are left and the service manager, Allan, will not answer texts after giving me his personal number. I have to attempt to schedule service 5 or 6 ways before I get an appointment. Something has to change. The actual service is fine, you just can't get an appointment day/time without said 5 or 6 attempts. The average person is just going to move on to another dealership for service. I bought at Beaty and want to do my maintenance at Beaty but they make is VERY difficult for the customer. On a positive note, my service advisor this last time was awesome, and the work done (just an oil change on my C8 corvette) was great as well. You guys HAVE to fix the scheduling problem. Why can't a designated person just answer and book service appointments? Everyone at the dealership knows that it is a problem, why not fix it? Allan and your current process is not your solution. Although you many be booked up even with the broken system, what kind of money are you leaving on the table in opportunity $$$$? Please fix the service scheduling problem. I took my car to have the breaks checked in May. My brakes were making a horrible screeching sound, and after they had my car for a week the solution was to slam on my breaks to "burn rust off" that was causing the noise. My suburban that is 2 years old.... THEN when I took my car in to see why my car was leaking oil on Sept. 8th, they not only figured out that problem but then told me I needed my brake pads changed and the rotator resurfaced, a belt changed and a couple of other things which I have since learned that some of those things need to be fixed because of the damage from the pads not being replaced. I have been made to believe that because I'm a female bringing my car in that I don't know what I'm talking about when I say something is wrong. I hate using this dealership and I tell everyone that I know, I will NEVER buy a car from Beaty Chevrolet again.

Though my truck was fine at the end as I'm told, I came in for a diagnostic at 8 a.m. The truck was returned to me at 10:45 a.m. after I'd sat waiting (it was parked out front since 9 a.m.). I was told they couldn't replicate the issue. I drove around, came back, and they listened to the issue. I'm told it was nothing. The service manager was kind, but the wait and the experience of being talked to like a degenerate by a different service manager was less than optimal. Then having to return later anyway.

The service on my Tahoe was done well, but overall this was a very unpleasant experience. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment and arrived early at 9:45 a.m., handed over my keys, yet my car was not ready until around 1:00 p.m. An oil change and tire rotation should not take three hours, and I find this unacceptable. I work six to seven days a week and have very limited free time. Just as I respected your time by arriving early for my appointment, I do not feel my time was respected in return. This was extremely frustrating and makes me hesitant to schedule service with you again. I simply cannot afford to spend three hours waiting for a basic service.

One month to install roof reinforcements that was probably a two day job. This was after the parts were in stock. No communication on status, every time I asked I was told they had to check with the body shop. No response. Then apparently they incorrectly installed some rivets and had to repair that damage I was never offered a loaner vehicle. I did ask after 2 weeks and never got a response A month was a pretty unreasonable amount of time to be without any transportation. I don’t know how a normal customer would be able to deal with that

This is the second time I have followed up with Beaty Chevrolet for a routine maintenance appointment and black greasy handprints have gotten on the interior headliner on my driver side. Having a beige headliner and color tone inside of my car makes all of these things even more increasingly noticeable even after detailing “cleaned all of it up.” This is something that shouldn’t happen at all especially after I spent $80.00 on an oil change and waited over 3 hours to have it completed and my car “detailed” to remove the grease spots that are still visible. I am not impressed with the service I have received because of this.

This is not the only place I get service because of travel and schedule but they also treat customers differently when they don’t use them for a while and have even commented to us that we haven’t had our vehicle serviced in over a year. FYI we have had all our vehicles serviced when it was time and have all records. Not all times was there that is what I think the attitude is really about. When I find another place to go to I will be forgetting about Beaty even though a handful that works there are trying.

Called to schedule an oil change, the dealership said 2 weeks out. Person on the phone gave me the date of September 18 and asked if that was okay, I said no as I work that day. I asked if there was anything available on the 19th, and was asked what time. I asked for 0800 on the 19th and was told okay! On September 17th, I received a confirmation text stating that my appointment was on the 18th at 0800. I called to find out what was going on as I had scheduled the 19th at 0800. Washington told that my appointment was on the 18th and that there were no openings for the 19th, she was sorry. I said I would make arrangements. Brought my car in on the 18th at 0800, only to be told I did not have an appointment scheduled!!! I got upset, and the service advisor, Scott, said not to worry they would go ahead and take care of my car. Very disappointed! I’m thankful my car got serviced but very disappointed in the way it came about.

Sales person was rude. Ripped the contract up in my face so I walked out. He chased me out to the parking lot and then got me to where I needed to be on the truck. Also, the receptionist is incredibly rude every time I call. She answers the phone like I’m bothering her or something. Truthfully, I wish I had just bought the truck at a different dealership. The finance manager told me he had to pull some strings to get me approved. Well I looked through the paperwork and it looks like I was approved in several places for a much lower interest rate. He made it seem like the only place I could get approved was Chase. Like I said, these people are a little sneaky and rude often. I should have just walked away when that salesperson ripped up my contract and acted like a little kid throwing a fit.

2nd Major issue from 2024 NEW Colorado 1st was JULY 2024 - Rear main oil seal leaking replaced faulty seals and gaskets to stop leak, 2nd main issue was October 2025 - Power steering lights and check engine lights came on only to be solved by "reprogramming serial date gateway module" maybe potential software conflicts with other modules or losing connection to front camera. Both issues were SOLVED and truck was turned around QUICKLY by Scott Atkinson service advisor. Scott did a great job with clear communications and getting his team to solve these issues and provide a rental. Customer love clear communication to stay informed and Scott Atkinson EXCELLS at customer service skills which promote success with clients. My outlook on trucks and Beaty would be altered bc of the overall success of the frontline team at BEATY CHEVY and the way they treat clients from point of sale through service process of solving problems. Communication was terrible. The service manager blamed the service employee for not returning phone calls when I left messages on the managers voicemail. My truck was there for 2 months for a warranty fix and I had to call every time to get information. Never received a call letting me know what was going on. The service manager tried to up charge me when it was supposed to be covered under warranty, minus the deductible. I had to call the claims company to figure out why I was being charged almost $9,000 for a transmission. Turns out Beaty submitted a quote more than double to the insurance company than what the insurance company said it would cost to replace. After I called, the service manager mysteriously found a way to cover all of the cost, minus the deductible, which is correct. Shady deals like this is why no one trusts dealership service departments.

A simple task took 3 weeks, and they lied to me about my warranty coverage and did not compensate me. Beauty Chevrolet is a bunch of thieves and y do not do honest business. When my warranty expires (which doesn't even serve a real purpose because bumper to bumper does not cover everything and you still have to pay a deductible) I will never set foot on that parking lot again. I brought the vehicle in to have the brakes checked. Scott, the service manager, determined that the problem was due to a faulty brake vacuum pump. GM had a 10-year 150,000-mile recall on this problem. Beaty replaced the brake vacuum pump under warranty. I bought the vehicle new from Beaty in late 2016 and only have 38K miles on it, so I was very happy with the outcome. Although staff on the phone are cordial, Beaty typically seems to be understaffed. The mechanic was supposed to work on my car on Monday morning; I explicitly asked to check the 12V battery of my Volt. After calling several times throughout the week, on Thursday I was told that I needed to change the large battery. I told them that I changed the large battery in the spring and asked if they had looked at the 12V battery. The mechanic checked the 12V battery and I finally got my car on Friday.

Tristan was good overall. I had my truck looked at 25k ago for transmission fluid exchange. They said that new fluid type was not needed & my noted shifting issues were "normal." I would first like to say my salesperson Dalton was amazing. He communicated effectively from the start through email and via text from the moment I requested assistance on the website. I made a trip to test drive a Colorado and left because we just couldn’t come together all the way that I needed to on the price. 2 days later he texted me again and offered to try again on the price so I came back that night we met in the middle on price and I took the truck home. I want to thank your management team for a hassle free buying experience. I shopped for over a month and every dealership I contacted who “discounted” the price added in junk fees at the end so the trucks were not really on sale at all. I do have to tell you that I happened upon your dealership kind of by accident. Most people shop on Car Gurus because of the ease of comparison. Your dealership didn’t even show up. Most of them had 3-6 Colorados to choose from. I went to the Chevrolet website as a last ditch effort and Beaty showed up with 16 models in various configurations. 4 tires & 4 wheel alignment solid 3 hours, never had that take so long before especially when tires were ordered days before. But it’s obviously the norm at Beaty as both cars I brought in at 2 different times took a solid 3 hours while I waited in lounge… which had bad coffee & snack basket was emptied by employees who didn’t bother to make new coffee when they emptied the pot. Listened to sales staff gossiping around a front counter and service cashier staff dressed unprofessional which is clarified by their attitude, and demeanor while interacting with customers. Only made worse by their laziness: calling a customer on cell phone rather than walking 3 steps from their counter to call a customer for their finished car at the lounge. Lack of any knowledge about ensuring GM Rewards points are going to be rewarded on my services or if I had any points that could be redeemed towards my purchase. When one of my invoices was wrong instead of calling Corey they gave me my invoice and had me take it to him to inquire or fix it…I’m disabled so it mattered to me. Actually Corey was great, he’s the best service advisor Beaty has, the other two act like it’s an imposition to serve you even when you have an appointment. I like Corey, the rest of the place needs to learn some customer service skills or they actually just hate working there and dislike customers

My car was serviced on 11-8 -25. I was told they found 2 oil leaks. I was also told that they couldn't close out the ticket until they found out if it would be covered by the limited life time warranty. This was on a Saturday. I was told by Corey that he would contact the warrenty people first thing Monday morning. After numerous calls over a span of 3 and a half weeks, my husband finally had to call the manager to finally get the answer that it wasn't under warranty. We also found out that the warranty people is in house at the dealership.

I was disappointed that I was only able to use one coupon at a time for the services received. I had multiple coupons mailed to me from Beaty Chevrolet and/or GM. They were for multiple different services. At my service appointment, I had an oil change, tire rotation, transmission service, and air filter replacement. I wasn't asking for a price match or anything unreasonable. I just wanted to use the coupons I was sent. It seems unreasonable, that I would have to make multiple appointments and come back at different times to save a few dollars when I could have all services completed in one visit.

Had a appointment at 8 amd didn't leave till 1030-11 am.. and those coupons are pointless in my opinion.. I drove 30 mins to have a oil change.. my coupon was for 69.95 and payed 72 with a 8 qt oil change..

It seems that the mechanic did quality work. I have no complaints. However, the service advisor Kane was not forthcoming with updates and information about when my vehicle would be finished, any concern points, any warranty that would come with the work completed. Also, multiple service advisors are sitting in a row doing nothing... but ONLY one that is currently with another customer can give me information about the completion time? This is poor customer service.

Only was able to see 2 trucks. The salesman couldn’t get the keys for the truck stock numbers I requested off the online dealership website. Something about the trucks weren’t checked in the dealership yet. I came back a week or so later and the same problem happened. I ended up going with the black Silverado. The dealership didn’t install the side running boards that was listed on the window sticker. I picked them up from the dealership a day or so later and installed them myself. The black tow hooks I ordered from them I found out were damaged after the salesman handed them to me. I ended up canceling the reorder of the tow hooks and bought them elsewhere. Overall I did have good experience with the first salesman Kevin Smith that’s why I came back to this dealership. Well and the lifetime powertrain warranty was a big reason.

Service began 1 hr 45 min after my appointment time. Bedline does not fit in the bed properly and I was told there is nothing that can be done about it. If I want it fixed I need to pay for it myself. I feel that this is a warranty issue
